| Meet Natalie |
Hello,
I started out my career in the insurance industry, but after many years
I realized my clients needed me to be a counselor more than an insurance agent. So,
I went back to school and pursued my Masters Degree in counseling.
About half way through my training I personally began to have some intimacy issues.
Rather, I reached a point in my life where I finally had to deal with them. Do you
know what I’m talking about? It’s that point in a relationship where you have to make
some changes or lose the relationship.
Well, with the help of a wonderful counselor my relationship survived.
It was great! She helped me work through my difficulties by understanding them.
After that, the oddest thing started happening, it seemed like everybody around me had
some type of sexual problem or intimacy issue.
For example, one day I was on the phone at work and one of
my insurance clients told me he and his wife were no longer
sleeping together. Then, one of my dear friends found out she
had a STI (sexually transmitted infection) and she was not sure
how it would affect her future relationships. It seemed like there was such an
overwhelming need for someone to specialize in these issues – people’s most private
pains. So I made this my life’s work and I haven’t looked back.
